About the role
Gemini Industries Inc. seeks an innovative and results-oriented individual to support National Security projects. The successful candidate will provide expert communications and writing support to multiple Congressional Committees.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly reports to several congressional committees reporting on Department of War activities, on behalf of the Secretary of War.
- Create digital continuity folders and files that include standard operating procedures, workflows, and POC lists to accomplish all tasks.
- Develop 2-3 products beyond the client's requirements that positively impact the client to either increase efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation.
- Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days.
- Use government provided Generative AI tools on a day-to-day basis to accelerate tasks, research, documentation, analysis, planning, reporting, and problem solving.
Qualifications
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of related work experience, minimum of ten (10) years of specific work related experience in support of a DoW or IC component.
- Experience in technical writing, technical editing, policy writing, executive communications, and other government documentation.
- Demonstrated experience developing correspondence and documentation for Department of War, Intelligence Community, or other federal organizations.
- Demonstrated expert technical writing, editing, proofreading, and document quality assurance skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously within a cleared environment.
- Work independently, and the ability to work alongside a high op-tempo team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing publication-quality deliverables.
Education
MA/MS (or a BA/BS plus an additional 8 years of work experience, 4 of which must be work related).
Outcomes
The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes during the first year in the position:
- Formally track all tasks, to include assigned by, suspense, status, and comments on all assigned tasks through completion and be prepared to brief upon request.
- Create 2-3 products beyond the client’s requirements that positively impact the client to either increase efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation.
- Establish foundation in AI/ML skills and contribute to AI/ML operationalization and modernization goals and objectives.
