Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed API specifications for RESTful APIs in the payments domain.
• Create all associated artefacts, including use cases and API testing tools such as Postman collections.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and QA teams to gather technical information and produce both technical and functional documentation for client integration.
• Ensure documentation aligns with industry best standards and practices.
• Review and edit API documentation for accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Manage version control and updates of API documentation as APIs evolve.
• Advocate for documentation quality and usability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Specify engineering tools for content management and rendering.
• Leverage proven experience with technical API documentation, especially within the payments domain, to address client‑focused documentation requirements.
• Apply strong analytical abilities and deep understanding of API technologies, standards, and protocols (OAuth, REST, JSON, XML, GraphQL, SOAP).
• Produce clear, concise technical documentation with minimal guidance.
• Draw using Figma and other tools (advantageous).
• Utilize content‑management tools such as Crafter.
• Operate within an Agile development process.

Pay

Salary: $45 – $55 per hour (based on education, experience, location, duties, certifications, etc.).
