Conformal Coating Touch Up and Rework Operator

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and manually apply protective coatings to electronic assemblies (PCBAs)
• Apply, repair, or remove conformal coating (acrylic, urethane, silicon, parylene) from restricted areas on PCBAs using precision tools, brushes, and microscopes

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to interpret work instructions
• High attention to detail and high dexterity skills
• Proficiency in manual application techniques (brushing, syringes)
• Able to identify defects such as bubbles, voids, thin spots under ultraviolet (UV) light
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Knowledge of electronics helpful

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Work may include bending over or crouching.
• The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
