Duties And Responsibilities

  • Affords support to the Screens Team and the Conflicts and New Business Screens Manager (CNBSM).
  • Assists in drafting ethical and lateral screening memos for review.
  • Reviews Outside Counsel Guidelines, Engagement Letters, and client waivers for screening requirements.
  • Ensures ethical walls are compliant with screening requirements.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation is saved to electronic screens before implementation and distribution.
  • Builds and implements walls in the Intapp Walls system.
  • Compiles background report data for screen resolution issues.
  • Pulls appropriate files and runs reports to obtain necessary information.
  • Analyzes and interprets data to support problem-solving and resolve timekeeper-related issues.
  • Maintains thorough and accurate records and files in accordance with team standards.
  • Collaborates with Conflicts Staff Attorneys, fellow analysts, and CNBSM to resolve access issues.
  • Supports the CNBSM in conducting audits of the Firm’s ethical screens and providing quality control assistance.
  • Communicates with requestors for additional information or clarification.
  • Provides excellent customer service and administrative assistance to Firm requestors and Screens Team.
  • Exercises sound judgment to recognize and escalate issues requiring senior review or approval.
  • Identifies and resolves matter data discrepancies.
  • Performs various special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated ability to write and communicate clearly and concisely in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant research or analytical experience in a legal, professional services, or academic environment
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently complete work with minimal errors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

Preferred Proficiency

  • Proficiency in Intapp Walls, Terms, and Intake/Conflicts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint
  • Proficiency in database systems & queries
