Confidential Records 2, Portuguese, Spanish, or Asian Language (Finance and Records Dept)
Responsibilities
- Analyze and process all restoration of blessings, reinstatement, and readmission applications, including applications involving apostasy and plural marriage.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of cases received from local units.
- Request additional information from priesthood leaders as needed.
- Create case summaries and decision letters for the R&C Committee (may make recommendations).
- Provide primary contact for Priesthood Leaders, Mission Presidents, and Stake Presidents by responding to inquiries with tact, diplomacy, and a thorough knowledge of Church doctrine and policy.
- Review the work of other sealing application analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Give feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Qualifications
- Handle all but the most legally sensitive Confidential Records cases, assisting the Sr. Confidential Records Specialist as needed.
- Create detailed executive summaries, reports, and presentations suitable for high-level executives.
- Have a bachelor's or master's degree in English, History, Journalism/Communication, or a related field with 3 to 5 years of experience handling a variety of Confidential Records cases.
- Fluent in Portuguese, in addition to English.
- Capable of understanding, analyzing, and describing complex issues and data, explaining them to others.
- Able to learn, understand, and navigate complex organizational policies, recommending improvements when necessary.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise tact and discretion.
- Able to meet critical deadlines and perform at established standards.
