What You'll Do

  • Lead and support the Conference & Event Coordination Team, creating a positive, customer-focused and high-performing culture.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins, coaching and supporting team development.
  • Ensure enquiries are managed professionally, accurately and within agreed response standards.
  • Maintain enquiry quality, conversion performance and service standards, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Plan team resources to ensure effective workload management and operational efficiency.
  • Lead weekly function sheet meetings and coordinate communication between commercial and operational teams.
  • Build strong relationships across Operations, Finance, Revenue and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Head of Revenue to support venue utilisation, customer satisfaction and commercial performance.
  • Lead engagement with large, complex and high-profile event enquiries and VIP clients.
  • Conduct venue show rounds, customer appointments and event review meetings to maximise conversion and ensure successful event delivery.

About You

  • Experience within a conference, events, hospitality or customer-facing commercial environment.
  • Previous experience leading, coaching or supporting colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities.
  • The confidence to work with multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • A customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of sales conversion and customer experience.
  • The ability to remain calm and effective when managing multiple priorities.

Pay

£33,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full time 37.5 hours per week.
