About the role
Positions filled for 2026. Interviews in Spring Quarter. 6-8 positions available. Looking for students who are detail-oriented, friendly, responsible, and able to maintain professional standards as part of a customer service team. Previous A/V experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set up for events
- Operate audio/visual equipment
- Deliver conference materials
- Provide excellent customer service
- Candidates must be comfortable moving and setting up tables, chairs, tents, large boxes, etc.
- Comfortable working in a team
Requirements
- Valid US driver's license required
- Must be comfortable driving large vehicles (SUV, 8-passenger van, etc.)
- May 16, 2026: Must be able to participate in half-day onboarding
- May 17 - June 7, 2026, exact dates TBD: Must be available for two training sessions
- June 15 - 19, 2026: Must be able to participate in a mandatory training week, ~40 hours of training, 9 am-6 pm daily
- June 20 - 21, 2026: Must be available to work the opening weekend
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Must be available to attend weekly staff meetings on Wednesday evenings
Pay & schedule
- $17.15/hr (2026 rate)
- 20-35 hrs/week
- Training sessions in mid-May
- June - approximately the week after Labor Day weekend
