Maintenance
- Maintain all association property and equipment
- Upkeep of the pools/spa and common areas
- Check and maintain pool chemical levels
- Scheduled inspections on building equipment and buildings
- Maintain storerooms and pump rooms
- Perform monthly HVAC preventive maintenance
- Afford assistance with custodial duties as needed
Physical Demands
- Work tasks are performed primarily outdoors
- Temperature varies due to weather conditions
- Must be able to walk and give directions
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning and stocking tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a resort environment
- Certified Pool Operator within one year of employment
- Must possess a valid Drivers License
- Must obtain a CPO (Certified Pool Operators License) within one year of employment
