Condo Maintenance Technician

Maintenance

• Maintain all association property and equipment
• Upkeep of the pools/spa and common areas
• Check and maintain pool chemical levels
• Scheduled inspections on building equipment and buildings
• Maintain storerooms and pump rooms
• Perform monthly HVAC preventive maintenance
• Afford assistance with custodial duties as needed

Physical Demands

• Work tasks are performed primarily outdoors
• Temperature varies due to weather conditions
• Must be able to walk and give directions
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning and stocking tasks
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• Minimum two years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a resort environment
• Certified Pool Operator within one year of employment
• Must possess a valid Drivers License
• Must obtain a CPO (Certified Pool Operators License) within one year of employment
