About the role
The role is based on-site at a customer facility. Directly coordinating, scheduling, and participating in work with the customer to comply with the “partnership agreement". You will be working as part of a team who will use their knowledge to develop, operate and manage Condition Monitoring programs for John Crane's client.
Responsibilities
- Operate and Develop Condition Monitoring programs for John Crane clients in conjunction with the Lead CM Engineer.
- Lead CM Engineer.
- Conduct routine Condition Monitoring surveys at our clients’ premises.
- Conduct analysis of routine vibration data.
- Report Vibration and Oil Analysis results and associated corrective maintenance recommendations.
- Interface with the client for the on-site delivery of Condition Monitoring services.
- Conduct periodic on-site Pump Performance Testing and on-site Reporting.
- Using a defined process calculates the cost benefit of carrying out recommendations.
- Work within the requirements of the Integrated Management System.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Engineering Technology degree preferred and/or equivalent and relevant work experience with rotating equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vibration Analysis ISO 18436-2 Category 2, or equivalent required.
- Lubrication Analysis ISO 18436-4 Category 2, or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred in vibration analysis for condition monitoring of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors).
- Experience with mechanical seals a big plus.
- Proficient with Computers, MS Office and specialist vibration monitoring software.
- PREFERRED SKILLS: Thermography, Rotor Dynamics Analysis, Laser Alignment, and Electrical Tests.
- Experience working in a diverse environment with a global company is a plus.
