About the role
STRUCTURAL is looking for a local Concrete Technician to join our Chicago, IL team performing work across the state.
Responsibilities
- Concrete repair
- Concrete demolition
- Concrete placement and finishing
- Formwork / carpentry
- Rebar replacement
- Concrete Coating application
- Fireproofing Installation
- Structural Steel Welding
- Equipment Grouting
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with a self-performing contractor, general contractor (GC), or specialty contractor.
- Preference will be given to those with concrete or concrete repair experience.
- Must have an active TWIC Card.
- Must be willing to wear a respirator.
- Able to pass written or computerized training.
- Must have reliable transportation and active drivers license to get to the site daily.
- Willing to travel in and out of town.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position:
Skills
- Proficient in concrete repair techniques
- Knowledgeable in formwork and carpentry
- Experience with rebar replacement
- Ability to apply concrete coatings
- Familiarity with fireproofing installation
- Structural steel welding skills
- Grouting equipment operation
