Concrete Superintendent Intern

About the role

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC), part of the $5B+ ARCO Family of Companies, is seeking a motivated Concrete Project Manager Intern in Richmond Heights. You will support Superintendents on commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment and other project types, gaining hands-on experience in scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and end-to-end project execution.

Responsibilities

• Work on jobsites with field personnel to learn concrete foundation, slab on grade, tilt-up, and exterior pavement construction
• Assist Superintendents with creating schedules, communicating with subcontractors, and running projects smoothly from start to finish
• Perform critical tasks across all stages of the project life cycle

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree program
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale)
• Co-op or intern construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence
• Ability to meet physical demands: standing/walking for long periods (including uneven terrain), bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs
