About the role
We are seeking a self-motivated Concrete Structures Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, along with extensive experience in concrete structures.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Plan and coordinate the activities of construction crews, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
- Oversee the procurement and distribution of materials, ensuring efficient use and timely delivery.
- Perform site inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are met.
- Travel as needed to manage projects across various locations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Concrete Structures Foreman or 10+ years as a concrete form setter/carpenter.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and plans.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and extended hours.
Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of concrete mixing and pouring techniques.
- Understanding of material handling and storage procedures.
- Experience with project management software.
