Concrete Project Manager, Construction
About the role
The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience performing a variety of tasks to support one or more major concrete projects at any given time. Experience with Tilt-up concrete or tilt-wall construction is considered a major plus.
Responsibilities
- Participate with and collaborate in the design and construction process with the ARCO Project team
- Conduct job site meetings on site
- Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control and schedule
- Conduct progress meetings with the construction team
- Remain cost conscious and aware of every aspect of the project at all times
- Able to communicate effectively with everyone involved in the project
Requirements
- BS or BA strongly preferred; Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 0-3 years+ of construction management experience - Concrete and Tilt Wall experience is a plus
- Able to effectively make sound decisions under tight deadlines
- Able to organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
- Exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes. Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external customer expectations
- Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
- Computer skills: proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
