Responsibilities
- Coordinate concrete scope work for projects with project schedules and other work schedules, ensuring no conflicts.
- Facilitate scheduling needs for project teams as required.
- Solve construction-related problems and provide support to concrete finishing and forming crews.
- Manage budgets for self-performed concrete jobs and projects.
- Order materials and supplies for concrete work, ensuring sufficient supplies.
- Create and issue purchase orders and subcontracts for materials and labor.
- Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and constructability, making corrections or suggestions as necessary.
- Compile project submittals and submit requests for information on assigned projects.
- Review timecards of craft workers for accuracy.
- Provide training to self-perform work site supervisors on computer and leadership skills.
- Forecast material and manpower needs for projects and fulfill needs in a timely manner.
- Analyze work for quality and compliance with contract documents.
- Resolve issues and determine the best course of action for problems.
Qualifications
- Three to five years of relevant experience in construction and/or engineering industries.
- A four-year business or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
