Concrete Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate concrete scope work for projects with project schedules and other work schedules, ensuring no conflicts.
• Facilitate scheduling needs for project teams as required.
• Solve construction-related problems and provide support to concrete finishing and forming crews.
• Manage budgets for self-performed concrete jobs and projects.
• Order materials and supplies for concrete work, ensuring sufficient supplies.
• Create and issue purchase orders and subcontracts for materials and labor.
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and constructability, making corrections or suggestions as necessary.
• Compile project submittals and submit requests for information on assigned projects.
• Review timecards of craft workers for accuracy.
• Provide training to self-perform work site supervisors on computer and leadership skills.
• Forecast material and manpower needs for projects and fulfill needs in a timely manner.
• Analyze work for quality and compliance with contract documents.
• Resolve issues and determine the best course of action for problems.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant experience in construction and/or engineering industries.
• A four-year business or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
