Concrete Form Setter

Requirements

• 35 years of experience as a concrete form setter in heavy civil or commercial construction environments
• Experience setting forms for sidewalks, curb and gutter, valley gutter, concrete pads, walls, and structural concrete applications
• Able to read construction plans, blueprints, grades, and layout measurements
• Proficient in building, setting, aligning, and bracing wood and metal forms to specified line and grade
• Knowledge of concrete placement procedures and coordination with finishing crews
• Experience installing embedded items, dowels, and reinforcing steel as Required
• Knowledge of jobsite safety practices, OSHA regulations, and proper use of PPE
• Ability to operate hand and power tools associated with concrete formwork
• Ability to work around heavy equipment and within active construction zones
• Valid drivers license required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
