Key Responsibilities
- Form Assembly: Measure, cut, shape, and assemble formwork for various concrete elements (slabs, curbs, walls, columns).
- Installation: Set forms, ensuring they are aligned, braced, plumb, and square, using tools like levels, measuring tapes, and string lines.
- Reinforcement: Place and tie rebar, wire mesh, and install hardware like wall ties and expansion joints.
- Pouring & Finishing: Coordinate concrete delivery, pour, and use finishing tools (floats, screeds, trowels) to achieve the desired surface.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and follow project plans, elevations, and layouts.
- Safety & Quality: Adhere to all safety protocols (PPE, fall protection) and maintain high quality standards.
- Carpentry & Construction: Strong carpentry skills, understanding of formwork materials.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy materials (50-100 lbs), stand, bend, and work outdoors in various conditions.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand and power tools, as well as measuring and layout tools.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for accuracy in alignment, elevation, and dimensions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with supervisors, finishers, and laborers.

- Physically demanding, involving heavy lifting, bending, and repetitive motions.
