Concrete Foreman
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Concrete Foreman to lead and manage our concrete crews on construction sites. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise concrete crew members, including finishers and laborers
- Coordinate daily tasks and assign work to crew based on project needs
- Ensure correct placement, leveling, finishing, and curing of concrete
- Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and follows safety protocols
- Cover materials, equipment, and inspections to avoid delays
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Enforce company policies and safety compliance (OSHA, PPE, etc.)
- Oversee and supervise daily operations of one of our Concrete Crews including the safety, quality, and personnel management aspects
- Support of safety & health programs, including daily tailgate meetings, accident investigations, and development and implementation of corrective action plans
- Provide guidance and development of hourly personnel to meet performance requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on concrete experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of forming, placing, finishing, and curing concrete
- Proven ability to read blueprints and interpret construction documents
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Physical ability to perform work in various weather and jobsite conditions
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.
