Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise concrete crews in all phases of work including forming, pouring, finishing, and site prep.
- Read and interpret project plans, grades, and drawings to execute accurate layouts.
- Organize labor, equipment, and materials to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work meets specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Provide direction to team members, monitor performance, and foster a positive team environment.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness.
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily progress and materials used.
- Adapt to shifting schedules and project priorities with flexibility and calm.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment as needed for task support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of concrete and construction experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
- CDL required for transporting materials and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of forming systems, concrete pours, rebar placement, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to motivate a crew and maintain productivity under deadline pressure.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and able to lift and move heavy materials.
- No formal education required—proven jobsite leadership and experience are what matter most.
