Key Responsibilities
- Assist with hands-on production work including formwork, rebar tying, finishing, and other tasks
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and ensure accurate construction
- Inspect work progress to verify project quality, identify issues, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the crew, including assigning tasks, monitoring work quality, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to production team members to enhance skills and productivity
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of recent blueprint and drawing interpretation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry or precast concrete construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
