Concrete Construction Project Manager- Fredericksburg VA

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Concrete Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale, ground-up commercial concrete projects in the Fredericksburg, VA market. This is an opportunity to join a growing concrete contractor working on technically demanding projects across advanced manufacturing, data centers, healthcare, higher education, and government.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale commercial concrete projects from preconstruction through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal field teams
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation
• Track project progress, costs, materials, manpower, and production
• Work closely with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining strong client relationships
• Ensure quality, safety, and contractual requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction project management experience
• Strong experience managing commercial concrete construction
• Experience with $10M+ project budgets
• Ground-up commercial construction experience strongly preferred
• Experience with one or more of the following markets: Data Centers, Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, Higher Education, Government, Large Commercial
• Strong understanding of concrete construction means, methods, scheduling, and project financials
• Ability to effectively coordinate with field teams, clients, GCs, subcontractors, and design professionals
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
