Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate superior customer service skills by maintaining professionalism, friendliness, sophistication, and confidence.
- Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude, create positive energy with gestures, and sustain enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
- Be ready to serve and informed of daily information; build relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
- Anticipate needs and provide fast, flawless service.
- Check for satisfaction and effectively resolve guest issues when they exist.
- Handle daily operations of the front desk, including efficiently booking spa appointments and addressing guests’ requests and questions in a professional manner.
- Manage cash, credit cards, gift certificates, comps, and room charge transactions for services and retail products.
- Recommend and up-sell services and products that fit the guests’ needs.
- Articulate spa and salon offerings, their benefits, and convert inquiries into booked appointments.
- Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
- Demonstrate respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests’ needs in a professional manner.
- Maintain an understanding of the spa industry and spa philosophy (balance, relaxation, unity, and a healthy lifestyle).
- Keep a clean, safe, stocked, and well-organized work area.
- Follow proper opening and closing procedures, including opening and closing the spa and salon in the absence of a supervisor or manager if needed.
- Assist in the training of new employees.
- Communicate all policies and procedures in a positive manner.
- Perform various administrative functions and other duties as assigned.
- Provide a warm farewell and thank guests for visiting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous call center or reservation booking experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a Health Spa environment preferred.
- Team player with strong organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to handle multiple duties at once.
- Available to work varied hours and shifts.
Pay
$18.00 per hour
