Concessions Worker | Part-Time | Missouri State University

Responsibilities

• Cash register sales: Taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
• Food preparation and order building: Knowledge of all areas in concessions operations.
• Stock management: Maintaining stock and supply levels, communicating low-stock items to the manager.
• Customer service: Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns.
• Workplace cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including garbage disposal and dish cleaning.
• Serving beverages: Serving beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• ID verification: Checking guest's ID to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol purchases.
• Sanitation and safety: Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.
