Concessions Utility | Part-Time | Benchmark International Arena

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all concession areas, including prep stations, equipment, and storage spaces.
• Aid with stocking and restocking food, beverage, and supply items before, during, and after events.
• Support food preparation tasks such as portioning, assembling, and packaging menu items.
• Ensure all workstations are organized and fully equipped for efficient service.
• Monitor and dispose of waste properly, following recycling and sanitation guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize utensils, cookware, and concession equipment regularly.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of concession stands for events.
• Transport supplies and inventory between storage areas and concession locations.
• Follow all food safety and handling procedures in compliance with health regulations.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Support team members during peak service times to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with staff and guests.
• Aid with inventory counts and help track usage of supplies.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall concession operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years foodservice / hospitality experience; similar venue experience a plus.
• Food service certification.
• Physical Dimensions: Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking. Routine activities require the employee to be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working Conditions & Hazards: Exposed to weather and non-weather related cold temperatures. Wet and slippery floors. Extreme hot surfaces. Pinch points and tight working spaces throughout building. Exposed to high noise levels.
