Job Summary
Traffic Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is seeking a full-time Concessions Manager. The role involves supporting the staffing of all concession team members, overseeing menu development and event planning, engaging with guests, and ensuring a positive reputation of the venue.
Essential Job Functions
- Aid in establishing and enforcing arena policies
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet departmental goals and maintain a positive reputation
- Support hiring, training, staffing, and scheduling of concession team members
- Execute concession concepts and menus across various areas, including permanent stands, portable carts, vending, and in-seat service
- Communicate with guests and team members to provide exceptional hospitality
- Develop promotions and programs to enhance guest experience
- Handle guest service issues and enforce safety, security, and sanitation standards
- Maintain food quality and support the mentorship and development of team members
- Use relevant systems and manage inventory for the concessions department
- Support senior leadership in achieving a successful operation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years
- At least 3 years of experience in food and beverage operations, with 1 year in supervisory/management
- Experience in sports and entertainment venues, preferably in concessions and in-seat operations
- Experience leading large teams (100+ preferred)
- Experience opening/acquiring new venues
- Keyboarding skills and proficiency with MS Office and POS software
- Experience with workforce management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills
- Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverages
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Working Conditions
- Fluctuating temperatures
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
- Standing/walking, traveling stairs
- High noise levels and/or fluctuating lights
- Exposure to sharp objects, machines with moving parts, heat sources, and hazardous chemicals
- Handling moving vehicles and adhering to safety protocols
