Concessions Manager

About the Role

Prepare and clean concessions, document inventory, and stock concessions for various school activities including football, basketball, wrestling, track, soccer tournaments, baseball, and softball games in May.

Responsibilities

• Provide directions to volunteers on food preparation quantities and operation of equipment (popcorn machine, nacho cheese machine, hot dog roller, grill, and cleaning procedures).
• Create and post documented instructions in concessions for volunteers at the beginning of each activity season.
• Clean concessions thoroughly before each activity season, including:
  • Counters, shelves, drawers, and cabinets
  • Drink coolers (inside and outside)
  • Refrigerators and freezers (inside and outside)
  • Sinks and pizza warmers (inside and outside)
  • Nacho cheese and popcorn machines (inside and outside)
  • Washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Document and order concessions inventory based on the activity calendar.
• Move inventory between concessions after an activity season ends.
• Stock concessions with drinks, candy, chips, nacho cheese, condiments, and cutlery the day prior to scheduled activities.
• Prepare taco meat for most activities at least 3 hours before the activity start time.
• Review SignUp.com for volunteer status, print sign-up reports, and place them in concessions before activities.
• Practice and model food safety by wearing gloves when prepping food and providing gloves to volunteers.
• Ensure food is at safe temperatures before serving.
• Assist volunteers and Concessions Manager 2 as needed.

Previous experience is preferred but not necessary.
