About the Role

The Concessions Cook is responsible for preparing foods to be served to guests throughout the venue. This role involves direct contact with the public, primarily in concession stand areas, and may include assisting with catering events. The Concessions Cook must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests.
  • Prepare hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements.
  • Participate as a team player with responsibilities related to preparation, service, and product delivery.
  • Report any maintenance required for kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking.
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish food plates for delivery to guests.
  • Consult with the Director of Food & Beverage, Concessions Manager, and Stand Leaders to plan menus and estimate food consumption.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.

Requirements

  • Previous cook or prep cook experience highly preferred.
  • Able to operate standard kitchen equipment, including broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef knife.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations (ServSafe preferred).

Pay

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.50–$18.50 and is tip eligible.
