Concession Worker | Part-Time | Texas Tech University

Responsibilities

• Cash register sales: Taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
• Food preparation and beverage service: Building orders, preparing food, serving beverages, including alcoholic beverages, and checking guest IDs.
• Stock management: Maintaining stock levels and communicating low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Customer service: Responding to customer requests or concerns.
• Workplace cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including garbage disposal and dish cleaning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
