About the role

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests, including food and beverages, ensures quality presentation, and processes payments using a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
• Prepare food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, and serve them to guests responsibly.
• Check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol purchases in accordance with state/federal regulations.
• Maintain stock and supply levels, and communicate low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Respond to customer requests or concerns with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred; willingness to learn cash handling and register operation will be considered.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with coworkers, managers, volunteers, and guests.

Pay

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00–$16.00 and is tip eligible.
