About the role

As a Concession Stand Worker, you will prepare and build food items while delivering a memorable guest service experience. Responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs. You will adhere to established food safety, food handling, alcohol service, and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Courteously greet and assist all guests
  • Take food orders and serve guests
  • Prepare and build food items according to standardized recipes and directions
  • Properly store food by applying food safety policies and procedures
  • Set up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
  • Break down, clean, and sanitize workstations
  • Serve food to guests while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating guests’ needs
  • Replenish food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels
  • Maintain excellent service, positive demeanor, and friendly, efficient, and positive interactions with guests, clients, and co-workers
  • Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Ensure security of company assets
  • Operate a cash register and collect payment for sales from guests
  • Reconcile cash to register sales and stand inventory
  • Maintain and implement the Aramark alcohol policy
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements

  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Must be able to obtain food safety certification
  • Demonstrates positive guest service skills
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 25 lb.
  • May be required to meet state age requirements for serving alcohol
  • May be required to obtain TIPS/TEAM card at locations that serve and sell alcohol
  • May be required to complete Serve Safe Food Handlers certification
  • Previous guest service experience is a plus
  • Ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $17.65.
