Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring all purchases are properly recorded in the point-of-sale system.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service and address questions, concerns, or complaints promptly and courteously.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with quality, safety, and presentation standards.
- Restock food, beverages, and condiments as needed while maintaining a clean, organized concession stand.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including ServSafe and alcohol service requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and follow established inventory control procedures throughout events.
- Serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
- Aid with additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to obtain Responsible Alcohol ServSafe certification & Food Handler's ServSafe if not currently certified.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during events.
- Ability to lift and carry 25–45 pounds for stocking and setup.
- Must be available to work all UW–Madison football games and the majority of events at the Kohl Center Arena.
