Concession Stand Supervisor(s)

About the role

The Concession Stand Supervisor supervises, manages, coordinates, and plans all activities that directly relate to the Concession Stand.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the concession stand for all home events
• Direct concession workers for home events
• Monitor the cash box and any product giveaways
• Make popcorn and pizza
• Sell concession items
• Order and stock the stand with concession stand products
• Update product numbers for inventory on Google sheets once the products arrive
• Stock the stand with products prior to events
• Clean the concession stand area immediately following events
• Inventory concessions immediately after each event and restock coolers
• Lock up cabinets/door for concession stand
• Enter inventory into Google Sheets for concessions
• Sign for check requests for Letter Club products
• Secure and/or prep concession stands if outside groups are using the concession area for their event
• Assist in the care of equipment and facilities being used
• Other duties as assigned and appropriate

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Current district staff member preferred but not required
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver’s license

Skills

• Knowledge of District Website
• Knowledge of concession stand equipment
• Ability to make arithmetic computations using whole numbers and decimals
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, students, parents, and elected officials

Physical Requirements

This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, speaking or hearing, and using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and occasionally requires standing and walking. Work requires close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, depth perception, color perception, and peripheral vision. Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data; work has exposure to environmental conditions and is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. sporting events).

Pay

$2,179 - $2,745 DOE per Master Agreement. Pay is prorated if the position is shared.
