Concession Stand Lead

Job Summary

The Concession Stand Lead position at Beaver Street Food Co. requires reliable and hardworking individuals to manage concession stands during OSU home athletic games. Key responsibilities include accurately recording inventory, ensuring compliance with service standards, training staff, preparing food items, responding to guest concerns, and maintaining a clean and organized space.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record inventory through our Point-of-Sale system.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory control procedures.
• Train and support stand workers on paperwork, Point of Sale systems, and any other needs.
• Set up, stock, open, maintain, and close your assigned spaces and/or stations.
• Prepare and gather food items for customer orders.
• Ensure staff remain on task while quality assurance, cleanliness, and organizational standards are consistently met throughout operations.
• Respond to guest concerns and operational issues in real time, escalating concerns when necessary to maintain a positive fan experience.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized area.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to provide an excellent dining experience.
• Serve alcohol responsibly, following all OLCC and Location guidelines.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older for this position.
• Food Handler card (or ability to obtain one).
• OLCC Permit (or ability to obtain one).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Commitment to working at home games and athletic events, including evenings, weekends, and varying start times as needed.
