Concession Stand Attendant | Part-Time | University of Illinois Athletics
Responsibilities
- Cover the register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
- Build orders, prepare food, and have knowledge of all areas in the concessions operations.
- Maintain stock and supply levels and communicate low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
- Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
- Check the guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
- Previous point-of-sale experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay
This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$17.00 and is tip eligible.
Schedule
This position will remain open until November 6, 2026.

About the Role
The Concession Stand Attendant prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation.
