Concession Lead (Ohio University)

About the role

We are looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to join us as a Lead Concession Stand Attendant at Ohio University in Athens, OH. This position is scheduled as needed for events.

Responsibilities

• Ensure concession stands are prepared and fully stocked prior to service
• Requisition additional product as needed throughout the event
• Validate beginning and ending inventory counts
• Supervise nonprofit organization group members; train on proper service techniques
• Prepare and serve food and beverage items in correct proportions; follow established procedures, standards, and recipes
• Participate in set up of stand and food to be served at concession stand
• Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area
• Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact, and greeting guests

Requirements

• Customer oriented
• Previous food service supervisory experience preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
