CONCESSION ATTENDANT (PT) - TAQUERIA | CAZ

About the role

Taqueria at Casino Arizona is seeking a part-time Concession Attendant to join our dynamic team. This position offers a varied schedule and the opportunity to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders, rings up on cash register and provides correct change.
• Follows safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Retrieves food and/or supplies from the kitchen or storage when necessary.
• Sets and re-stocks mis en place on the station; stores, labels, dates and rotates all foods.
• Cleans and prepares all fruits, vegetables, meats and fishes.
• Aids in the coordination of daily specials with the supervisor.
• Brews coffee and makes espresso and blended beverages according to recipes.
• Communicates to kitchen staff when necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; previous kitchen or food outlet experience required.
• Related experience in a medium to high volume restaurant strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Arizona State Liquor Laws - Title 4 certification required.
• Valid Maricopa County Food Handler's Card.
• American Bar Association (ABA) certification a plus.

• Basic knife skills and ability to operate basic kitchen equipment.
• Ability to operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to follow both verbal and written instruction.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and well-groomed appearance.
