Position Overview: The PMO is seeking to hire a Computer Support Specialist from the Admin Services Contract to perform Quality Assurance testing.

Responsibilities

• Developing test plans.
• Writing detailed test cases based on project requirements.
• Perform manual testing of Client applications.
• Identify and document bugs in Client's Jira environment.
• Validate fixes by retesting identified bugs.
• Designing and executing manual and automated test plans for new features and releases.
• Building and maintaining a regression test suite to catch issues before they reach production.
• Performing exploratory testing to catch edge cases automated tests may miss.
• Partnering with engineers early in the development process to define acceptance criteria and testable requirements.
• Tracking, prioritizing, and reporting on defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Establishing QA metrics (defect escape rate, test coverage, time-to-detect) to measure quality improvements over time.
