Computer Specialist

About the role

Part‑time Computer Specialist at Eagle View Elementary, working up to 29.5 hours per week in a voucher position with no benefits. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the education of assigned students
• Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth
• Assist with data management and collection
• Teach Computers to K‑5 grade students
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administrator

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Demonstrate proficiency with computer education
• Hold an Associate’s degree, have 48 semester hours of college credit, or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire
• Utah Elementary Teacher Certificate preferred but not mandatory
• Provide copies of college transcript(s) if available
• Submit a minimum of three letters of recommendation, including at least one from a direct supervisor, which address the candidate’s skills at working effectively with students, parents, staff and community members
