Computer Programmer

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate) to develop macros and tools to analyze and maintain data for programmatic needs; efforts include work with large data sets that will be integrated into different management tools, databases and reports.
• Additional familiarity or ability to learn to use PowerQuery for data consolidation between Excel Spreadsheets and with Power BI reports.
• Perform Automated and Manual Developmental and Operational Testing, such as Power Automate flows to schedule file refreshes.
• Develop and support the maintenance of Power Apps and SharePoint databases by building custom apps that connect to data stored either in the underlying data platform (Microsoft Dataverse) or in various online and on-premises data sources (such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Planner, Power Apps, Power Automate); also develop and maintain Power BI Reports and use Power Query in Excel and Power BI to assist with data integration and analysis aspects from other parts of the statement of work.
• Assist with generating meeting briefs; meeting briefs are typically generated in Microsoft Power Point but depending on the nature of the meeting/brief, the medium may vary.
• Install and configure software, hardware and networks.
• Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify system requirements and install upgrades.
• Maintain, secure and upgrade a web system.
• Create a backup and safeguard the data.
• Perform account setup for new and old employees.
• Track emerging technologies and implement them in the organization.
• Apply security patching and STIGs of OS’s.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in from an accredited college or university in Computer Programming, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: Seven (7) years of professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks. This experience should include at least three (3) years with Power BI/Power Apps.

Pay

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000
