The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a talented Cyber Network Operator to join our team in Chantilly, VA. There are a wide range of topics covered in this role. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving project milestones and developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. The Cyber Network Operator in this position supports all technical aspects focused on priority mission requirements, including but not limited to conducting technical debriefs, travel (C/OCONUS), and technical operations in support of cyber operations management as necessary to the Sponsor’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage and install network technologies such as routers, switches, database servers, and related technologies to rehearse operational activity
• Train colleagues and mission partners on operational methodology, tool development, equipment functionality, and technical/operational deconfliction
• Obtain operational infrastructure for use as intermediate operational launch platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Engineering), with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a relevant technical field to the position
• Active TS/SCI clearance with required polygraph
• Government certification or equivalent
• Ability to evaluate and articulate technical risk
• Understanding of computer networking architecture
• Understanding of basic internet functionality, ISPs, and network traffic
• Possess system administration level knowledge of operating systems (i.e., Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac OS, Mobile OS’s, etc.)
• Understanding of mobile technologies and implementations
• Ability to convey technical and non-technical information in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to apply analytical thinking to decision-making and problem-solving
• Understanding of fundamental technical network analysis
• Familiarity with commonly used large-scale service components (web servers, databases, load balancers, caching servers, storage clusters, etc.)

Skills

• Desired Certifications: OSCP, OSWE, GXPN, GPEN, or equivalent
• General understanding of the overall function and mission context of the Sponsor’s organization
• Self-motivated, creative problem solver
• Ability to handle working on multiple projects at once, with minimal guidance
• Manipulating and parsing files of various structured and unstructured formats and extracting relevant technical data

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is $113,200 - $237,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
