Primary Responsibilities
- Augment Government personnel in resolving Network Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Model Layer 1 and 2 trouble tickets.
- Troubleshoot and repair analog and digital telephone systems to include Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) networks and accessories.
- Resolve connectivity issues involving data acquisition equipment in RRAD production environments.
- Augment Government personnel in installing, testing, and troubleshooting various types of communication cables (e.g. CAT6, fiber-optic).
- Serve as Computer Systems Support Specialists (CSSSs).
- Augment RRAD-DFIM personnel to ensure the RRAD Property Book and all other IT recordkeeping systems are kept current and accurate.
- Serve as the point of contact for RRAD personnel inquiries regarding equipment turn in and issuance procedures.
- Ensure the appropriate RRAD-DFIM network administration personnel are notified of new equipment issuances and old equipment turn-ins to enable system image deployment and appropriate updates to the RRAD network whitelist.
- Perform other support duties as needed/directed.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of verifiable customer service or clerical experience.
- Must be familiar with internet browsers and the Windows operating system.
- Preferred: Associate's degree.
- Preferred: COMPTIA A+ Certification or similar.
- Required: Active Secret DoD Security Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
