About the role
Work with construction and safety teams to create and update drawings in AutoCad and Revit. Open to AutoCad new grads!
Responsibilities
- Maintain current digital facility square footage and plan documentation.
- Assist in project design, review and the documentation of department codes and square footages from various architecture firms.
- Involved in new building construction review and the design process for budgetary remodels or refurbish work.
- Produce drawings; do not interpret or design.
- Maintain allocation or cost reports for firewalls, location of devices.
- Work with code requirements, including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Keep and update life safety plans.
- Ensure proper code classes for smaller project redesigns.
Requirements
- Trade or vocational school courses in AutoCAD design required.
- At least two years of CAD-related experience or at least four years of relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of current version of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and/or Google Sketchup preferred.
