Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job

About the role

Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech! You’ll accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility. Location highlights: Turtle Lake offers a quiet small-town setting in central North Dakota with access to regional outdoor recreation and scenic prairie landscapes. Lake Sakakawea and the Garrison Dam area are about 35 miles away, providing boating, fishing, and shoreline trails within roughly a 45-minute drive. Bismarck is about 55 miles south and offers dining, shopping, and cultural stops such as the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum and the Dakota Zoo. Cross Ranch State Park is within about 40 miles and features Missouri River access, hiking trails, and wildlife viewing suited to travelers seeking a rural assignment with convenient regional amenities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician’s scanning instructions
• Administer contrast materials
• Operate CT scan equipment
• Perform CT scans and general radiology exams
• Schedule mobile MRI, ultrasound, and DEXA services
• May perform EKG duties (training available)
• Documentation system: Epic
• PACS: Intellispace
• Equipment includes Toshiba CT, Carestream X‑ray room, and Siemens mobile unit

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years CT Tech experience
• Completion of a JRCERT‑accredited program in Radiology
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Current ND license
• Certified Radiologic Technologist – ARRT (R)

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: 3 holidays per year
• Call requirement: 2 weeknight call shifts per week and weekend call including Friday night
• Call response time: 20 minutes
