About the role
We’re seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent role with a skilled nursing facility in Wrangell, AK.
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret physicians’ scanning instructions
- Administer contrast materials per protocol
- Operate CT equipment
- Provide imaging services appropriate to the patient population served
- Perform mammography (Mammographer capability indicated in position title)
Requirements
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or CT
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year experience as a CT Technologist preferred
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate imaging care across the lifespan and to assess patient status per department policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Experience performing mammography is required
