Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

Job Description

The CT Technologist position offers the opportunity to work day shift in a well-established, hospital-based imaging department in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Oshkosh is known for its welcoming atmosphere, excellent schools, and strong sense of community. Responsibilities

• Receiving and reviewing orders
• Verifying patient identity and exam indications
• Explaining procedures to patients
• Positioning patients for CT scans
• Performing routine CT scans, contrast-enhanced studies, and specialized exams such as CT angiography and trauma-related imaging
• Using radiation safety principles
• Working closely with radiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure timely, accurate imaging and comprehensive patient care
• Documenting in the electronic medical record and using PACS and radiology information systems
• Maintaining equipment readiness, performing basic quality control checks, and contributing to protocol optimization and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Assisting in training students or new staff, fostering a supportive, learning-oriented culture

Requirements

• CT Technologist, Computed Tomography
• Experience: 2 years
• RAD-WI Certifications: BLS-AHA; CERT-ARRT- CT
• References: 1 Reference in entire work history
