Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures
• Fluoroscopy
• Portable radiographic procedures
• C-arm procedures
• OR imaging services
• Provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients
• Perform routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Demonstrate proficiency in processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross-sectional anatomy

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
• CT Technologist, Computed Tomography Experience: 2 years
• Licenses: RAD-NM
• Certifications: CTTECH-ARRT(Copy Needed); BLS-AHA(Copy Needed)
• SSN Required
• DOB Required

About the Role

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient patients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. They must demonstrate proficiency in performing routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures and possess knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross-sectional anatomy.
