Bioinformatics Support
Can you provide bioinformatics support to research projects?
Requirements
- A strong interest in brain tumour research
- A working knowledge of Python and R
- Experience analysing spatial transcriptomics data and interpreting it
Responsibilities
Provide dedicated computational biology support for the analysis of a large-scale spatial transcriptomics dataset generated from longitudinal glioblastoma (GBM) samples.
- Refined and applied analytical pipelines for high-resolution cell typing, spatial mapping, and intercellular interaction analysis
- Supported biomarker discovery and patient stratification
- Integrated molecular data with tissue context under neuropathology guidance
Qualifications
Short-term post suitable for a candidate with bioinformatics expertise and experience with brain cancer spatial transcriptomics and single cell expression data.
