Compressor Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Responds to compression alarms and identifies issues.
• Covers with production personnel to ensure proper understanding of equipment and troubleshooting.
• Collaborates with vendors on issues that cannot be resolved without specialized equipment or knowledge.
• Cleans witches hats, repairs blow cases, sumps, pumping fluids, and minor repairs within scope of work.
• Works with Production to ensure proper volumes, injection rates, and pressures on gas lift and plunger wells.
• Collaborates with the gas measurement team to troubleshoot meter runs that are out-of-scope.
• Collaborates with the maintenance department on winterization on all gas lift equipment.
• Mobilizes and moves facility equipment including but not limited to; heat trailers, power steamers and air compressors.
• Cross-trains on gas lift and plunger wells.
• Performs housekeeping at the compression facilities.
• Communicates with supervisors on issues seen on location with equipment, vendors, or other company personnel.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of (2) years related Gas Lift experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Able to satisfy insurability standards to drive a company vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling field operations activities.
