About the role
As a Compounder, you will work in a collaborative team environment, engaging with cross-functional teams. The position operates on the 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM in a GMP environment at our Dayton, NJ facility. You will be required to wear a uniform and adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve and accurately measure ingredients using scales.
- Mix various ingredients and identify solids for melting using hot plates.
- Dilute ingredients appropriately and record raw materials usage.
- Verify the weight and contents of raw materials and conduct in-process batch inspections.
- Document all process events by following established procedures and policies.
- Process liquid, powders, and utilize homogenizing and spray dry methods of compounding.
- Follow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances.
- Check for consistency in batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures.
- Take samples of batches for laboratory testing.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and accurately document work completed.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of compounding experience with powder/raw materials.
- Experience in a GMP environment.
- Willingness to follow safety and sanitation protocols.
- Experience handling raw materials and chemical handling.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year.
Schedule
2nd shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
