HOURS:

• 8-6 Monday-Thursday
• 6-10 Friday
• Flex hours: 12PM to 10PM

General Purpose of Job:

This position is responsible for batching and mixing colors according to Majilite formulations.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Prioritizes safety, PPE, and compliance in an explosion-proof work environment.
• Read and interpret work orders and formulas as required.
• Weigh and measure chemicals in the use of batches.
• Operate mixers as needed.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Observe all safety, PPE, and quality procedures while completing required tasks.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly stand, walk and talk/hear.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• The employee will be required to wear safety PPE as required.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
• The employee will frequently work in a manufacturing and chemical mixing/handling environment near moving mechanical parts, and around hazardous chemicals.
