Job Responsibilities
- Perform advanced manufacturing and assembly operations on aerospace components
- Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and technical documentation independently
- Identify and resolve production or quality issues
- Carry out inspections and help maintain aerospace quality standards
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
- Mentor and support less experienced operators, helping to develop skills across the team
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency and safety
- Support the production of components used in leading aerospace and defense programs
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Two to five years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing or related production environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience working as part of a collaborative manufacturing team
- A&P or FAA Aircraft maintenance experience is a plus
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen) per ITAR regulations to comply with export control requirements
Physical Requirements
- This role involves standing, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Candidates should be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs and work safely in a manufacturing environment using appropriate personal protective equipment
